This was my 3rd time I visited LA and the trip was very spontaneous. I ended up visiting with friends on the first leg of my trip, met my girlfriend mid-trip but my last few days I was in LA by myself. For the first time ever, I was alone in a city with nobody I knew. No friends, no family. All by myself, far away from home. I met with Bryce's agent at the time and they highly recommended him based on his androgynous look and I couldn't resist. I believed the duality would be captivating as he stood out amongst his peers. Our introspective conversation led me to continue experimenting with double exposure in a place that I've experienced before but never like this. No stylist, no make up artist... Just Bryce, myself and my Minolta. Anxiety definitely kicked in but I managed to overcome it while creating some of my favourite images to date.
