~ a love letter to my mother knowing where to begin is the hardest so i begin from an ending an ending that has been the beginning of a life long thirst that won’t quench of a life long resilience that’s here to stay of a life long sorrow that's turned to gold mama, i look in the mirror and i see you as i stand here i am older than you i am a mother without a mother w i t h o u t my mother words touch my lips and linger & i feel a feeling that's indescribable indelible i’m not empty with sorrow i’m filled with fire and passion to create a better future to heal all sorrows to touch the world for humanity a better world for my daughter ...for me to matter... as my eyes well up i light a candle 🕯 to remember your light to light my light with your essence i shall not wonder what could have been the person i see in the mirror is someone you'd be proud of this I shall remember year after year ...rest in peace mama immortalised by ~ARTJEDI 2021
