In Greek mythology, Medusa was a monstrous Gorgon, described as a winged female with living vicious snakes instead of hair, snakes that would petrify everyone who gazed into her eyes. In Greece, jellyfish is called Medusa, and although looking at her does not petrify us, it can freeze the moment for those who can appreciate her beauty and alluring moves. In layman's terms, she is commonly known as the "fried egg jellyfish" because of her fried egg looks; however, the scientific world calls this beauty Cotylorhiza tuberculata, and it's a typical visitor of the Mediterranean sea. This particular one was photographed in the Petalioi Gulf in Greece near the shore, floating stunningly and freezing the moment for the photographer stunned by her addictive beauty.
