
There's a city in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy called Rimini. In this coastal city along the Adriatic, near its historic center, is a park called Parco Federico Fellini, after the famous Italian director, who was born in Rimini. I was told all of these things upon a recent visit to Rimini. What I wasn't told was that if you stood in an exact spot near the fountain in that park, at a certain time of day, during a particular season of the year, you had about a 5-minute window to see the sunlight shine through a hole in the trees onto the jet of water from the fountain, all Indian Jones, Raider's of the Lost Ark style. Obviously I had to take this shot. F
