Norðurljós (Dawn of the North) is part of my genesis illuminate collection. This was the first time I had properly experienced the northern lights dance across the skies and I was blown away by what I was seeing. I never realised the movement could be so rapid and the range of colours so wide, greens, yellows, blues, pinks and purples. One of those truly magical moments that ranks in my top three ever travel experiences and has now become an image close to my heart. Backstory: After a week of rain and really poor weather on the southern coast of Iceland we headed north hoping for clearer skies and spent two nights at the iconic Kirkjufell and Kirkjufellfoss.
