This artwork was painted after I came back from diving in Bohol Island. I tried cliff diving there, the cliffs undersea looked like mountains when you look up from the bottom, the coral grew on the cliffs. Corals and sponges grew huge, but the bleaching has already occurred. I remembered there’s a large heart-shaped table coral with half white-turned dead, it looked like a half-dead heart. I felt so sad because coral is the nursery for baby fishes, all fishes will gone if the coral died, the undersea garden will become an undersea graveyard. I painted an albino human covered with bleaching coral and the surrounding fishes turn to bones. I hope people can realize that we are an ecological chain with the ocean, please protect the coral reefs and Marine environment.
