Inspired on the same visit to the museum as my other mech illustration, "THE JUMPER," this design was ignited by a mineral formation I found in the rocks and gems hall of the building. I love the faceted forms of the mineral and built upon those to create Rocky, the most sure-footed mech of the off-world highlands. Image size 2625x3375.
