Persephone is the Queen of the Underworld, and transcends as the Goddess of Spring. She represents the journey from darkness to light, from fear and scarcity to growth and abundance. While born out of Greek Mythology I see Persephone as an allegory of our time, dark days of isolation, to growth and hope, death to rebirth. I see her duality as reflective of my practice and the artists process of creation.
