Nestled deep in the backcountry of the American southwest lie the Temples of the Sun and Moon. These iconic monoliths have towered over the valley floor for eons, sentinels of the night and day. 'Awakening' is the culmination of a night spent amongst the sandstone cathedrals. 11 hours planted in the field watching the stars move overhead. I combined over 1,200 individual still images for this video, paired beautifully with the inspired music of the 5 Points Bakery.
