This was a morning I'll never forget, from the steep, grey hike up to the moment we broke through the clouds. I don't know if I'll ever see this particular wave again, but I'm glad I got to witness it on this occasion. I took this picture about 20 minutes before sunrise, when the sky was still mostly blue and pink - these colors are some of my favorites in nature.
