A nearby flock of birds and a distant Statue of Liberty. Two unrelated things, in visual harmony for a fraction of a second. A father and son spending quality time together on the New York waterfront caught my eye. They were breaking off pieces of bread and tossing them into the water and within moments they were surrounded by the flapping of wings. As quickly as they came, the birds were gone, but not before I had framed Lady Liberty and captured this fleeting moment in time.
