The second in a series of machine hallucinations of cubist portraits, Picasso's Dreams explores the relationship and boundary between artist and machine. A general adversarial network produces a model of what it means to be a cubist portrait after being trained on thousands of hand curated paintings. The artist explore the model's "latent space", curates the best hallucinated portraits, and use the model to build seamless animations between the selected portraits.
