I remember standing at an overlook in Badlands National Park under a perfectly dark sky, feeling the warm desert winds on my face and seeing the stars blazing above me. This shot is a blend of a foregrond taken during sunset with a milky way taken at night. The sky is very detailed since I was using a tracker, which moves the camera in the opposite motion that the stars rotate, allowing me to use a much longer exposure than usual. The resolution of this photo is 6700x8375 (56.1 megapixels)
