I had been searching for an area of bluebells to photograph for weeks but every location I tried had already been trampled by people. I had almost given up when i stumbled across this small area of woodland in the west of Cornwall. Ive never seen anything quite like it. They were wild, untainted and rife! I started to shoot and the weather turned. Heavy heavy rain battered my camera and covered my lens. You can see soft spots at the edge of the photograph where the water was on my lens but I think it adds a bit more character to the shot.
