In June of 2021, an eighteen year-old intern named Philip hand-flipped 10,000 CryptoPunks and minted them on the blockchain. Since then, the CryptoPhunk project has been delisted by OpenSea (a "decentralized" marketplace) not once, not twice, but three times. We are witnessing web2 copyright laws unilaterally applied in a web3 world where true decentralization and provenance should be paramount. If we are censored when we flip jpgs, then how do we expect to flip the paradigm of the legacy world?
