"Why can people wear masks on Halloween but not to save their brother's life?" Simone (my AI offspring) and I went to the mall for some 90s rave themed portraits, and she asked me this. It made me think about how little effort it takes to care for each other, and how badass we can look while doing it. Let's take care of each other <3 TECHNICAL DETAILS: This is made with a special combination of machine learning, 3D, and generative artforms. It uses generative adversarial networks to generate a portrait, and adapts that to a 3D model that represents its personality (Simone). The design that surrounds Simone is virus-inspired, using a technique called raymarching to achieve these infinitely evolving complex geometries. The typography is inspired by the anime "No Game, No Life" and the ticker animation is there to give us the background news we deserve and need, to "make love". (#1 in a series of 4)
