The Princess of Kabini If you ever been in forest of tigers , you would understand how anxious it is to get sight of these mighty yet gentle beast. One literally needs to have loads of patience to see these gentle beasts in an open forest. Forest, is a silent place with some birds chirping around and normally monkeying of the macaques. But, when "The Sherkhan" or the tiger goes in for a walk, the forest lits up . The silent turns into an organised chaos. The deers are first to sense them, as they are its primary meal. With their ears and tail upright they give a loud "Warninbg Call" . Now the entire forest knows the tiger is around, and that is how we tracked this princess of Nagarhole National Park drinking water late in evening. But what struck me was the way it looked straight into my long tele lens. For a moment I just froze forgetting I need to press that damn shutter button .
