The chase or bug for chasing fog hit me when I saw Micheal Shainblum's images years ago. For me, it comes in cycles with break periods in between. The cycle in which this image was captured lasted 6months . Multiple attempts each week produced ok images . I was looking for what I called the holy grail or better yet the trinity of fog conditions. Fog, clouds, and an epic sunset burn. On this day I showed up and the landscape turned into the mythical realm of Asgard.
