Discovery Collection Piece #71 of 100 Portrait of a Dani warrior. The Dani are an ethnic group found only in 1938 and living in the central highlands of West Papua (Indonesia). They remained until then technically still in the stone age. During the ceremonies or in war they are used to adorn the body with feathers and natural plant fibers. Very popular is also the use of headdresses made with feathers of the bird of paradise.
