The concentration, focus, determination and passion of an Artist can clearly be seen through his work. This image brings out stillness of concentration as well as the fast motion of the turning wheel. Contrasts in an image always attracts me, and this is what it did to me, in this particular scene too. I was observing him for sometime first, loved how he was totally involved in making the Pottery, and then i picked up my camera to capture his dedication and Artwork. Continuing with my first image, this series is from the Potters Colony, Mumbai. A place so earthy, and humbling, is one of my most favourite places to go, chat and capture the Potters community there. Now staying in Thailand, I do miss visiting this place so much. I hope this image connects with you. Sharing his artwork and mine, in black and white, which is also my favourite..!
