My brother is an avid dungeon master. He and I played together last year on a campaign created by a friend I've known for 25+ years, and even though we were thousands of miles apart, that creativity and collaboration brought us all together. This piece started out as the cover of a mixtape (of dungeon synth and wizard disco) I made for my brother's birthday. It continued to evolve through several iterations, as I further refined the look and feel, and put it in motion. I sculpted the d20 in Cinema4D, built the simulation for the mystic energy flames in TurbulenceFD, and created the glowing energy shader in Octane render.
