“Voice, Balance” is an abstract piece rooted in expression and fine art. First, it was physically hand drawn, scanned, and finally edited and modified via Adobe Photoshop bringing it to its enhanced finished digital state. This style of work is a testament to listening to your own intuition, and the happiness, enlightenment, and freedom that comes shortly after. I have been formally taught all of the necessary art laws, like the Gestalt principles, how to use a grid, and color theory, but I found my true voice when I traded all of that in for how my heart felt to move forward, and letting expression come to the light. “Voice, Balance” represents meeting yourself on the other side of faith and self-trust, with originality, style, confidence, and something inexplicably alive and fresh.
