There couldn't be a more idyllic setting in the world for arguably, the most famous little tree of them all, The Wanaka Tree. This little willow tree is a true testament to resilience and what started out once as a fencepost on a common farm around 100 years ago, has grown into being one of the most iconic and recognisable places in New Zealand and in fact, the world. Thousands of people flock here every year and from every corner of the planet just to get their own images of the famous little willow. Having already been photographed thousands of times, I set myself a personal challenge to come up with something completely different and unique and I knew exactly just how I was going to do that.
