This ship sits here. It is beautiful. It's face is weathering with age. It’s backside is scarred but you can’t tell most of the time. Most of the time you just see that it is an old wooden ship, wearing as time goes on. You can’t see the burn marks from someone trying to spin steel wool on it. Sitting here, alone on a quiet night, the ship’s situation couldn’t have resonated more with me. I had felt stuck. That no matter what I did, I was in the same place. That, I too, put on a face as if I didn’t hide scars. I sat for hours. I sat long enough to realize that I wasn’t stuck. That I had options. That the old saying, "If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always got," was true in my life. I sat and created a plan in the dark, shooting star trails by myself. The process of creating this image changed my life, for the better. I hope that someone else can resonate with those feelings. 1/1 with signed print to the collector.
