this photo captures an old muscle car found on a late night NYC street, during a sleepless late night walk. this car is imperfectly preserved with rust eating over the entire body despite appearing to be in working use. this photo was shot during a pivotal time in my life; adjusting to several sudden, unexpected changes and adjustments due to the pandemic, having to uproot, facing eviction, etc. this was shot during a night of anxiety, filled with isolating thoughts, but this image relaxed me a bit and helped me truly recognize my art style within myself-- a feeling of renewed energy and confidence, the discovery of a personal niche. when i look at this photo and the array of shadowy colors, i'm reminded that i have myself, and that i'm home and that's something i want to share with you. upon purchase, you will receive ownership to the NFT as well as a framed 4x6 print of this original image/edit
