Kanye West’s DONDA album listening event Mercedes-Benz Stadium; Atlanta, GA - August 5, 2021 35mm photograph - shot on Contax T2 / Portra 800 Disguised as a background dancer, I was able to sneak onto the floor of the Mercedes-Benz stadium during Kanye West’s second listening party / launch event in ATL. Blending in amongst the crowd of 2000 background dancers, I began to document with my camera. The highlight of the big event came at the end, when West seemingly pulled off a feat that surprised many in the stadium and watching on the live-stream: as he appeared to be levitating several hundred feet in the air. Upon collecting, collector will also receive an exclusive DONDA long sleeve tee shirt given to all the performers ONLY available at the 8/5/21 launch event.
