Mid-winter and everything is frozen. Hiking along the canyon being careful not to fall into the flowing river below. In the half-light of the morning the view was spectacular. The accompanying quiet rush of flowing water added to the slightly surrealistic scene. At one glance everything was frozen, but in the next it was flowing. As the mist from the falling water rose above the waterfall and completing the landscape, I knew I'd captured nature at a fine moment.
