One of the toughest raptors in India, the Crested Hawk Eagles (Nisaetus cirrhatus) rule the central India forests. Known for their beauty, they are also admired for their strength as they go for prey twice their size. They have often been sighted feeding on birds larger than them, deer fawns and other small mammals. Their distinct calls and prominent crests help them stand out in any forest. I dedicate this image to the native families around wildlife habitats in Central India. A share of the sale will be used to fund ‘VANSHALA’, an afterschool program that educates children around wildlife habitats FREE. Size: 6000 by 9000
