Noor is present @ the estate sale of Igor Gyalakuthy, a curation of the professor's personal items on the occasion of his passing in 2021. Lot 008 Watercolour paint set "locket" once belonging to Livia Bălănescu, given to her by her husband Igor on the occasion of their seventh wedding anniversary. The locket is a souvenir of a happier day, spent with dear friends on a sunny afternoon in Bucharest, Romania in 1968 (Aquarela Pictor, Combinatul Fondului Plastic, 1960). My mother used these paints often, drawing inspiration from Margareta Sterian and the Balchik School for her seaside and still life aquarelles. The winning bidder will receive a short excerpt of a text on the life and work of Romanian painter Margareta Sterian written by Igor Gyalakuthy in 1985. The auction is managed by the professor's daughter, Ana Maria Jderiou, an artist and art writer based in Leipzig, Germany. 1/1
