There were beads in the pouch. I was sure that the more beautiful beads were a form of currency. This may have been a misreading of Jack and the Beanstalk or merely that I thought that very small, beautiful things were always immensely valuable. The velvet pouch was very small. I could fit it in my pocket, in case I needed the beads to buy myself a house or a yacht. The velvet led me to believe that I was very important, it was likely an off cut from something else, possibly a dress made for me at some other point. Memory 013 of 024
