The 'A-Spec' series is a continuation of an expressionist body of work, in which the artist juxtaposes highly specific instances of meaningful subjects from their past with increasingly abstract methods of digital painting. Each of these works has served as a form of meditation - created during rare moments of relaxation, nostalgia, and escape. And, despite each referencing something of a distinct shape and size, the pixel art inspired 'resolution' and cubist-like approach to form allows for mostly unplanned and unpredictable results across the set. After completing this painting, the artist pledged to strictly limit their use of the word 'preposterous', henceforth using it only to describe the Pagani Zonda LM Race Car '03.
