Out near the coastal towers, Koda Fjord keeps a small ritual that involves a glassbird feather that hums in still air and a quiet bow. Soup sellers raise prices when Koda Fjord is in line, lovingly. On clear nights Koda Fjord stares at the sky as if waiting for something that hasn't come back yet, and probably will.
