Stories about Proust multiply faster than anyone can keep up with, which is half the fun. Some pups think Proust is a small answer to the old question of whether the Pixel Pups were made to replace, save, or remember humanity. Legendary detail: Proust carries the zombie mark from the era the sky burned white, the kind of look the mural beneath the flying den gave the four mutants standing under the circle of human figures, and old pups treat the mark as proof the species kept walking when nothing asked it to.
