In The Yard, Gordian is known as a Cane Corso who is broad shouldered and quiet enough that other pups confess things unprompted. Friends learned long ago not to interrupt Gordian near the fountain steps in The Yard, especially with a glassbird feather that hums in still air in hand. When Gordian sits down anywhere near the mushroom farms, conversation reorganises itself politely around them. Gordian is mostly trying to keep one small fire alive in a world that keeps mistaking warmth for noise.
