Diodorus Blaze is the sort of Dalmation who is quick footed even when standing still. On rainy days Diodorus Blaze drags a humming traffic light fragment out and explains it to a different pup each time. The Yard has a small unspoken rule about teasing Diodorus Blaze near the drowned subway tunnels, mostly because nobody wants to lose. Diodorus Blaze believes ordinary days are where big mysteries hide, usually under a bowl or behind a door nobody checked.
