In The Yard, Caesar is known as a Cane Corso who is stitched out of patience, weight, and a stubborn fairness. Caesar keeps a private map of the council fountain, marked with which corners feel kind and which feel watched. Pups passing the glassbird roost sometimes wave to Caesar out of habit, even on days when nobody is actually there. Caesar wants to be remembered as useful, loyal, and only mildly responsible for what happened near the fountain steps in The Yard.
