Most pups know Aurelian Consul as a Cane Corso who is the kind of pup small terriers walk around without admitting why. Aurelian Consul insists the deepest tunnels under The Yard are warm because old machines still hum, and nobody has had the heart to test it. The Yard has a small unspoken rule about teasing Aurelian Consul near the coastal towers, mostly because nobody wants to lose. Aurelian Consul wants to be remembered as useful, loyal, and only mildly responsible for what happened near the Soft Hill.
