Milo is a Beagle of no club, a tracker first and a friend always. Pups near the sleeping machine rooms say Milo once stayed up all night arguing with a bell that rings when nobody touches it, and won. On busy market days Milo carries a circuit board carved into a toy boat like a small flag, and stallkeepers nod as it passes. Milo suspects the universe rewards pups who share their snacks and ask the awkward questions.
