Most pups know Kukai as a Corgi who is a brave loaf with surprisingly fast legs. On rainy days Kukai drags a bell that rings when nobody touches it out and explains it to a different pup each time. Pups passing the bone polishers den sometimes wave to Kukai out of habit, even on days when nobody is actually there. Kukai suspects the universe rewards pups who share their snacks and ask the awkward questions.
