Velleius is a Dalmation, quick footed even when standing still. Pups near the overgrown stadium rim say Velleius once stayed up all night arguing with a metal flower from the satellite field, and won. The Yard has a small unspoken rule about teasing Velleius near the rooftop kennels, mostly because nobody wants to lose. Velleius keeps moving because the old world left questions and somebody has to sniff them properly.
