Most pups know Florus Blaze as a Dalmation who is quick footed even when standing still. Anyone within earshot of Florus Blaze eventually hears the theory that the fire halos are old fevers that learned to behave. The Yard has a small unspoken rule about teasing Florus Blaze near the council fountain, mostly because nobody wants to lose. Florus Blaze would like to outlive the fountain steps in The Yard just long enough to leave it tidier than it was.
