This is a photo of a tabloid stand where I walk to work. If you want to know more about this: Digital image remix on laminated sintra board (In 2018 i had to sell the print to a friend because i needed to get funds to get my other works printed) The mainstream media can be an easily accessible circus. Usually if it is in black and white (printed but now if posted online also) it seems to be taken as the absolute truth. Mainstream news in the Philippines have become somewhat an entertainment spectacle focusing on pastimes based on biased data and angry noisy pseudo activists being manipulated by influential individuals. I guess maybe it is an art form in itself and gossip, marketing and or destabilization maybe chaos is balance sometimes to make the calm moments sweeter. ;p During that day I was dragging my feet to get out of the house since I was intimidated of the traditional corporate office culture at work. So I decided to walk 1.5km from home to the mrt station and take my time (meaning walk as slowly and relaxed as possible) finding interesting things to take photos of. Mohini :))
