There are times that our locomotive is careening down the tracks, screeching out of control. Everyone is screaming and no one has any idea what's happening or how it will end. We don't even know where we are or where we're going - everyone is just holding on for dear life and hoping for the best, or at least hoping to survive. There are times we're suddenly dropped off on a doorstep - proverbial or not - and we have to make do with the ground under our feet. As long as we wake up each day, the opportunity to keep going and find better answers is available. We must continue down the path we forge ourselves to seek the places where we feel we belong, where we feel accepted and where we can form connections with others and create an impact. The wrong stop is just an opportunity to reevaluate where we are, how we arrived here, and where we hope and plan to go next.
