Perspective is often everything. One person can look at a situation and see something horrible or dangerous, while someone else will look at the same scenario, and imagine how many opportunities and possibilities exist for them to explore. Are you looking at a scary set of trees going up a tall and challenging mountain to climb, or do you see a world of lovely foliage to admire, adorable furry and feathered creatures to listen for, and a rigorous hike full of fresh air, culminating in a beautiful view? Hanging by some ropes on what is essentially a tiny swing, while washing large pieces of glass is definitely not for the faint of heart. Most people gasp at the thought of it, not daring to attempt this kind of maneuver, even if they were handsomely paid. There are so many professions, and skilled people, who go largely unnoticed and unappreciated for the unique and crucial, covert work they provide to the ignorant masses around them. Working View was taken on a gorgeous summer's day while a brave and skilled gentleman washed the exterior windows and glass balconies of a nearly 20-storey building. It was simply an interesting and beautiful shot of a human spending just another day at work, so effortlessly executing a task that, from a practical standpoint, requires so much more than the average person could actualize - and that's okay. Capturing photographs of people while they work, or while they are immersed in something they love, or with someone they love, is intriguing, charming, and absolutely mesmerizing. It's possible to observe special, often hidden, sides of people in these slices of time, particularly when they aren't paying any attention; the beauty, honesty, and raw soul of candid shots are unparalleled.
