Ludwig is a composer who wrote classical music for the piano, orchestras and different groups of instruments, including the synthesizer. Around 30, he began to lose his hearing. By 45 he was completely deaf. Although he could no longer play in concerts, he continued to compose. During this time he composed some of his greatest works. He is said to be one of the greatest classical composers.
