Publius Septimius Geta (189 - 211 AD) was Roman emperor along with his father Septimius Severus and older brother Caracalla. Severus intended for his sons to rule together, but they were incapable of sharing power. As a result, Caracalla arranged for Centurions to murder Geta in his mother's arms in her apartment in the imperial palace.
