Still Life This a oil painting made in a time of quarantine. It was made on a stretched canvas with oil and spray paint. I was trying to incorporate new materials to my process adding this modern type to and old style of composition and subject. I was trying to aim on a style of dutch still life but with modern "junk"and unhealthy (yet very tasty) food that was for many the menu of the whole quarantine time. The name came from that too. Still life as our life when we were obligate to hold back and be inside our home with a fear of what going next. Life stood still for many of us as we watched the horrors of this pandemic. I think It could be a call out about our life, as a reminder that life is better when moving forward. This was my way to say it. Still Life | Oil on canvas | 80x100cm | 2020
