Aqua’s reference is the Priestess of Axis Order from the Konosuba manga series KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World is a Japanese light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki. The series follows Kazuma Satō, a boy who is sent to a fantasy world with MMORPG elements following his death, where he forms a dysfunctional adventuring party with a goddess, an archwizard, and a crusader. The Axis Order also referred to as the Axis Cult is a religion that reveres the Goddess Aqua. The order is headquartered in Arcanletia, where members aggressively attempt to convert tourists, (even when they publicly decline repeatedly) with some members even resorting to trickery; traumatizing Megumin and driving Hans to near insanity. As a result, the religion comes off as more of a cult, and members of the Axis Order are known to be "crazy in the head" to the public because of their fanaticism. Additionally, members of the Axis order openly discriminate against those who choose not to join, treating them with deep loathing and disrespect. The city of Arcanletia is protected from the forces of the Demon King by the many Priests and Archpriests in the city. While the Axis Order has fewer members than the Eris Order, it still bestows Aqua with stronger power due to its more fanatical members. The Aqua Appreciation Festival has established with the help of Aqua herself and Kazuma in Axel and occurred at the same time as the Eris Appreciation Festival. On the contrary to the Eris Order's salesmanship and the conventional stalls, the Axis Order resorted to creating stalls with an extravagant facade to cover their scams. For example, some stalls claimed to sell Kraken even though they were just normal squid. Aqua herself painted lizards and sold them as "dragons".
