Suiseiseki’s reference is the Alice Game cult from the Rozen Maiden manga series Rozen Maiden (Japanese: ローゼンメイデン, Hepburn: Rōzen Meiden) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Peach-Pit. It was serialized in Monthly Comic Birz between the September 2002 and July 2007 issues. The story follows Jun Sakurada, a middle school student who withdrew from society after suffering persecution from his classmates. Following his withdrawal, he is chosen to become the master of a Rozen Maiden named Shinku. Rozen Maidens are seven sentient porcelain dolls who compete against each other to become a perfect doll dubbed Alice. Suiseiseki (翠星石 Suiseiseki, Jade Stein / Jade Stone) is the third doll of the Rozen Maiden sisters. She is the elder twin sister of Souseiseki. The Alice Game is Rozen's plan to find the doll who is worthy enough to become "the perfect girl" to serve him. It is said that whoever becomes Alice is loved most by Father and will be able to personally meet him. It is seemingly won by fighting and collecting all of the Rosa Mystica, but this is later proven incorrect. If a doll's Rosa Mystica is not willingly given to another doll, the Rosa Mystica will hurt the recipient doll. It is discovered that the way to win the Alice Game is by forming strong bonds with the other dolls. Rosa Mystica is the artificial life force that the Rozen Maidens possess. They are in the form of small sparkling gems, each surrounded by several glowing orbitals, similar to the structure of an atom. They were created by Rozen and are pieces of his soul. They used to be a singular form but were separated apart as Rozen created more and more dolls.
