Tooru’s reference is the Chaos Faction from the Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid manga series Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid (Japanese: 小林さんちのメイドラゴン, Hepburn: Kobayashi-san Chi no Meidoragon) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Coolkyousinnjya. As office worker and programmer Kobayashi gets ready for work, she is greeted by a large dragon right outside her front door. The dragon immediately transforms into a human girl in a maid outfit and introduces herself as Tooru. It turns out that during a drunken excursion into the mountains the night before, Kobayashi had encountered the dragon, who claimed to have come from another world. Subsequently, Kobayashi removed a holy sword from Tooru's back, earning her gratitude. With Tooru having no place to stay, Kobayashi offers to let the dragon stay at her home and become her maid, to which she agrees, having fallen in love with Kobayashi. Tooru (トール, Tōru) also known as Tooru Kobayashi (小林トール Kobayashi Tōru). Tooru is a female dragon with the ability to transform into a human girl. After Kobayashi rescues her, she falls in love with her and decides to work for her as a maid. She is the daughter of Damocles. In Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon, dragons are split into different factions. There are the Chaos, Harmony, and Spectating factions. Chaos: seeks to kill and destroy all humans and their civilizations and also destroy the gods. Tooru, Damocles, Fafnir, Ilulu, and Kimun belong to this faction. Harmony/Order: Their objective is to stop the Chaos faction so humans could live among dragons and worship the gods. Elma, Telne, Clemene, Lumineis, Tatsuzawa, and Jida belong to this faction. Clemene is specifically part of the Dragon Slayer subgroup which is led by one of the three personas of Jida. This subgroup has the more radical aim of eliminating all opposition groups, essentially being "Harmony in name only". Spectators: Completely neutral, they do not intervene in the other factions' affairs. Lucoa is the only known dragon who belongs to this faction.
